Trilogy Vol 1: Beloved, Paperback

Toni Morrison, an American writer, editor, and lecturer (born Chloe Ardelia Wofford), received the 1993 Nobel Prize in Literature for her ability to "give life to a fundamental component of American reality in books characterised by visionary force and poetic import." The Bluest Eye, Song of Solomon, and Beloved, which received the 1988 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, are among her best-known works. Her books are noted for their epic themes, lively dialogue, and thoroughly developed African American characters. She was listed in Ladies' Home Journal's 2001 list of "The 30 Most Powerful Women in America."
