Warm Chocolate Oatmeal with Berries

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons Nesquik cocoa
  • 1.5 cup milk + 1 tablespoon
  • 5-6 pieces of fresh berries (strawberry, raspberry, blueberries)
  • 1 banana

Cooking Directions/Instructions

  • Use a small saucepan to heat oats, Nesquik and milk for a few minutes on low heat while stirring
  • Once the mixture is combined and has thickened a little, take it off the heat
  • Put banana and half the berries in a blender and whiz
  • Add a tablespoon of milk to help it get to a smoothie consistency.
  • To prepare your oatmeal, add a ladle of the warm oat to a single bowl, and pour some of the banana berry mix over it.
  • Sprinkle with rest of the fresh berries
